For this question: Actively advises me on which kindergartens and elementary schools are best for my child and works to secure a slot for my child? We are just starting the Pre-K year in September so I cannot accurately answer this question since I have not experienced this process.

My son's preschool doesn't have a formal parent night for getting to know the school. You can simply phone the school to take a tour and the director will answer any and all questions you may have. Also, my experience with beginning of the year meetings is limited because my son started preschool in January.
Parent #3
Newletters are sent home monthly for parents to know what is happening at school. also, school has a lending library for children to bring book home and read. whenever there is an illness, school provides exposure notices notifying parents.
