Children's Village serves children from 3mos to 5 years, and is year round, so the way a lot of these questions are phrased ('beginning of the school year' and 'end of the school year' e.g.) are not applicable ways to speak about CV. Children are advanced from class to class as they demonstrate readiness, not as a year begins or ends. Also, since CV serves a significant portion of low-income working families, who often don't have the time to participate in extracurricular events, our parent participation is lower than it would be a more 'exclusive' preschool.
