Director's Comments

Teacher modify curriculum to meet children's needs. Our ratios our low so teacher can easily modify curriculum to modify to meet child's needs. Teachers brainstorm ways to help children developmental milestones.

Teachers send home daily and weekly notes on behaviors and progress. We also have conferences when needed with parents. Also provide monthly newsletter to parents.

Help prepare the parents of what to expect with separation issues. Explain to parents that is it a process that many children have to go through. Will suggest an abbreivated schedule if needed.

Hand in Hand is not located near my house so I cannot comment on how often other parents and children get together outside of school. I have had 2 children attend and they have both loved it.

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
