Director's Comments
Lots and lots of love and hugs. Each child is different so we deal with each one differently.
Parents' Comments

Little Gators is an amazing school! They receive your children with loving, open arms. They are structured and academic...but it is all enforced with extra hugs. My children have a true and inherent love for learning. We attribute this mostly to the teachers and the teaching method at Little Gators. We can not say enough great things about our experiences there!
Parent Community
| COHESIVENESS RATING (4.2) |
Parents:
- Hold social events at the school to build community
- Are able to visit the school anytime we want
- Go on field trips
- Hold social events outside of the school (with and/or without children)
- Encourage play dates out of school

Develop parent outreach classes -- which we did in 2004, but didn't continue in 2005.
Parent #2
Have many social activities outside of the school as well. The school encourages the families/parents to interact.
Parent #3
Volunteer to make a project with the children as many times a year as you wish. Parents are always welcome in the classroom. Parents also rotate and bring substantial snack several times a year.
Parent #4
Have the opportunity to do in-class projects
Parent #5
Have many social activates outside of the school as well. The school encourages the families/parents to interact.
Parent #6
Strong parent community. Gets to see each other a lot at drop off and pick up.
Parent #7
Little Gators school has an amazing sense of community. Most parents live in the immediate area and greatly support each other in many different ways. This culture is pasted down by the warmth and generousity of the teachers and Barbara Figone, the dictector! As a parent, it has been an amazing experience!

The most valuable feedback (to me) was the immediate info the teachers told you at pick-up.. all the goods/bads of day to day preschool life as it happens so you can deal with it on the car ride home/ that night. The parent-teacher conferences were helpful from an aggregate sense -- general behavior patterns, learning deficiencies, etc.
Parent #2
Special meeting if you set it up with the Director.

Being Savvy Today
My Year of Giving Thanks
A year is such a strange thing. It's hard to define, other than to say that it's (generally) 365 days long, or to assign some notion of time to it. Yet, the truth is, so much happens in a year that all those events and experiences seem enough for
Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?
What school type is right for your child? Is one model better than another? What does the research say?

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
