Director's Comments
We have a parent night for new parents the week before school begins. A parent is encouraged to stay for a few minutes or longer, and this will be determined by the needs of the child. We often have parents in the parking lot the first two weeks with their cell phone. They are encouraged to give us a call to see how they are doing. We take photos of the child playing during the day, for often when we tell the parent they are fine--we are not believed. Photos speak volumes. It is rare a parent needs to stay any time after 2 weeks.

This is a tremendously warm school, with supportive teachers and an ongoing communication, in newsletters and in courses, on Jewish education, on child-rearing issues and on motherhood. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the Reggio approach to learning.

A Great Book Rhymes!
Kids are a funny bunch. They are often loath to change and anything new. But still, our little ones are open to so much -- and so much more than we more ossified parents are! Think of poetry: preschoolers happily read and repeat poems with ease and
