Director's Comments
Each teacher is following a curriculum for their aged group. The teacher will talk to a parent on a daily basis if there is a specific need. Otherwise the teacher and director of the school meet with the parents twice a year. The children are evaluated according to a school evaluation and this is presented to the parents at the second conference usually in April. We have an open house at the beginning of the year. We post all material that we think is important for parents to be aware of for help in the community.Only if asked do I give my opinion - or if I feel the child needs an area to be tested on.
Separation

Director's Comments
We ask the parents to bring their child to the school several times and stay with them for a few hours before the child ever starts our program. On the first day that the child starts we ask the parents to leave and to call us if they need to. We also ask that when a child first starts that they have a shorter day, until they get more familiar with the school and to find out that indeed mom/dad does come back.

A Great Book Rhymes!
Kids are a funny bunch. They are often loath to change and anything new. But still, our little ones are open to so much -- and so much more than we more ossified parents are! Think of poetry: preschoolers happily read and repeat poems with ease and
