Parents' Comments
Parent #1
The parent community is extremely support. Again, because this school relies so much on parents volunteering, the parents do end up spending a lot of time together.
Parent #2
They have the best "circle time" I've ever experienced as a parent.
Parent #3
All areas were handle intelligently and with great support processes
Parent #4
Parents are welcome to participate in a variety of ways. However, the teachers and directors are the educators and take full responsibility for the kids during the school day. Parents generally do not participate in the classrooms, but may be working in other parts of the school during the school day. Parents are welcome on the playground in the morning and at opening and closing circle a certain number of times per week.
Parent #5
Love it!!!
Parent #6
There is much parent involvement so it is almost like having an "open door" policy in that everything that is going on is very transparent if you are at the school volunteering in some capacity but the school also knows that it is not in the best interest of the child to have his/her parents drop in unannounced.

A Great Book Rhymes!
Kids are a funny bunch. They are often loath to change and anything new. But still, our little ones are open to so much -- and so much more than we more ossified parents are! Think of poetry: preschoolers happily read and repeat poems with ease and
