Director's Comments
Question to director: Do you have any additional thoughts on what parents should consider when looking at your school? Is there any advice that you would like to provide to prospective parents?
Every child is unique; therefore not all schools will be a good match. Check out many schools and take advantage of opportunities to see your child in a classroom to see how it fits.
Parents' Comments

Strengths: Children are treated as individuals. Positive behavior, consequences of actions are emphasized. Discipline is not just a negative thing, it's a way of being respectful of others.

Although cornerstone is primarily a developmental program, we were extremely pleased with our daughter's academic accomplishments throughout the year. She was clearly ready for kindergarten at the end of the year. And she absolutely loved going to school, the teachers and learning! Great environment!

Cornerstone Preschool is associated with South Hills Community Church, in that it uses their facilities. The school teaches some Christian values, but doesn't inflict religion within the learning environment. This is just something to be aware of for parents/families who may have particular religious beliefs (other than Christian).

My son was really into one type of game. The teachers allowed the play until they saw that it was all that he would do. He loves to take pictures, so the school brought in some old cameras for the students to pretend to take pictures with. He has become much more diverse in his play and I am very happy with the way the school handled the situation.
