Director's Comments
Question to director: Do you have any additional thoughts on what parents should consider when looking at your school? Is there any advice that you would like to provide to prospective parents?
As director of Clement School I believe that we offer a unique balance. Our school provides the best of a developmental, hands on learning education, as well as providing strong academic structure. Clement students leave here well equipped, self confident and ready to meet the challenges of kindergarten.
Parents' Comments
Parent #1
This schools wins awards after awards from the community. My child has had the best start to his educational and life career thanks to Clement.
Parent #2
I did not feel a part of the parent community. In all fairness, we were there 1 year at age 5. The car line is not conducive to meeting other parents. I loved the junior kindergarten for my son. It was a small class with a prepared, kind teacher. My son learned a lot and was fully prepared for kindergarten.
Parent #3
My child had a very positive experience and was well prepared entering Kindergarten. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. The school has a very open layout, the classrooms have no doors--all opening to a common center area. I believe this fosters the open and friendly atmosphere.
Parent #4
I was extremely happy with Clement. I believe my son was more than prepared for kindergarten after he finished his 2 years there. There seemed to be the right combination of play and academics. I thought they emphasized enough academics where he learned a lot but there was also lots of play and art projects that he enjoyed. I would highly recommend Clement and I will send my 2nd son there as well.
Parent #5
I like the small class size, which gave my child more individual instruction time.
Parent #6
My child was hit pretty hard by a younger child on the playground. I was immediately phoned and notified of the situation and told that the offending child's parents were phoned also and what actions were taken. I later was notified that the incident was repeated and it was determined best if the child was removed from the school.

A Great Book Rhymes!
Kids are a funny bunch. They are often loath to change and anything new. But still, our little ones are open to so much -- and so much more than we more ossified parents are! Think of poetry: preschoolers happily read and repeat poems with ease and
