Parents' Comments
Parent #1
P.O. is a very strong developmental pre-school. My only complaint is that there is not enough attention paid to practical skills such as learning the alphabet and basic reading. In addition, too much attention is paid to creating a 'politically correct' environment.

Pacific Oaks is phenomenal in its anti-bias education, conflict resolution, and social issues. It provides a safe and secure, positive and nurturing, developmental and child-directed, play-based and fun place to go to school. My daughter has thrived in this environment and has become very confident and compassionate in this school. Moreover, she is intellectually challenged every day, as she embraces experiential inquiry and the stimulating learning materials both inside and outside the classroom.

While the tuition is considered expensive and a time commitment is required from parents, there is no equal to this school in the SGV or elsewhere. It has been an amazing experience for our kids. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to be at PO as there is a long waiting list to get in. We are happy to contribute both financially and with volunteer hours because we know we are making it an even better place for our kids and our friends' kids and future families to come. And, most PO families feel this way. It is a very special place and we have met the most wonderful families.
