First off, the fact that it is at a community center is a huge bonus. Walking in to the building, staff and parents are smiling, waving, saying good morning..it's wonderful. The director greets you at the door to the preschool when you walk in to drop your children off and is always available for your questions or concerns (although I have never had any concerns!). All of the staff seem to know my children, even the aides that are in different classrooms. Their pre-K program is quite academic, with children breaking off into smaller groups everyday to go the library for reading and writing. However, they are only in there for about 15 minutes, which I feel is an appropriate time for 4 year old children. Everyday there are at least 2 activities ready for the children to do independently, such as water activities, paper/scissors, stamps, floam, playdough, legos, blocks...it's amazing. All teachers great the kids by name as soon as they walk in the door.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
