I love this school! My oldest daughter went to this school and now my little one started preschool here. I love the teachers beacause they are very careing! If I ever had concerns I could talk to the principal or the teachers and they were always there to solve any problems.

My son attended this school as a 2 year old, and I was thrilled with the curriculum, cleanliness, and quality/friendliness of the teachers. We ended up changing schools for this year because I did not feel comfortable with the minimum number of hours my ,now, 3 year old would need to be attending. School would start at 7:30 A.M., which I think is very early, and he would be required to stay for lunch. That is a 5 hour day with no other shorter day options. I feel that the school is catering to the "working parent" who would like to drop their child off early and have them picked up after lunch. This should, in my opinion, not be what a Christian school should be about: choosing career over family needs. I found a school that he attends from 9 a.m.-12p.m and gives you the options of early drop-off and staying for lunch.

I loving and caring community couldnt ask for better teachers they really know how to love, care and teach our children. I looked long and hard before chosing Advent Lutheran and now will continue by putting my son in there hands in Kindergarden class this year.

Being Savvy Today
The Wild Tangle of Grasses
If there was a single photo that could capture my feelings and thoughts about the past year, this would be it. It reminds me to keep looking toward the brightness of the light, even if I am caught in the wild tangle of grasses. This shot reminds me that

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
