Parents' Comments

Parent #1
Now that we have been at a different preschool for almost a year I don't see any more strengths. The individual teachers were nice, but are changed (fired) a lot during the school year. No dolls, no dressup, no pretend play, no playground to speak of. Lots of education, educational toys, sitting still. Hardly any creative activities.

The school is off Feb. 11-Feb. 15 for "President's Holiday" The official President's Day is only one day--Feb. 15, why are Feb. 11, Feb. 12 also off? No explanations.

Before this, Feb. 4 and Feb. 5 are Parents Conference, another two days off. Why couldn't it be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays?

For this month, the school would take the kids for only 15 days!

Also, the school starts late and closes early. (Short hours!) The drop off in the morning is 8:30 AM instead of 8:00 AM and the morning class ends 11:30 AM! To stay longer, we need to pay the lunch-bunch time, and then the afternoon time (3 hours). To stay longer, you pay the extra for 'extended care' so that the kid can still until 6:00PM.

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
