Seeing as how I used to work here, I can tell you that I was the only one that would gather the children and interact with them such as group singing with instruments, games, etc. As opposed to the other teachers, with the exception of one, that would gossip among themselves and let the children do what ever they want. After the school kids get there everyone except the 0-1 year olds would be outside playing together. Needless to say I only worked there for Less than a month before I decided that this was not right. Oh and they are a three star daycare because the owner pays out lots of money to have an excellent facility and keep the staff current on classes. I can honestly say that after I attended the CPR class (directed by a person the owner knew) I was not confident in what I had learned to be able to save a child if the chance came down to it. Which is really sad and scary so I read up on it and became fully aware of what to do in a dangerous situation. I do know there are other daycares out there that are alot worse and I only know these things about this daycare because I worked for them. There are good things about this place. Such as when the teachers do interact with the children, I can say that the only resoulution to conflict was to take the child aside and help them understand what happened and the proper way of handling it. (Tell a teacher.) They did serve well balanced meals. It was a very sanitary place, headlice was never an issue and hand washing is a very big deal.

I would highly recommend this child care center. It is clean. It is appealing and the children all seem to be having fun. It is limited access, and parents must have a code to enter. This is especially appealing to me.

Being Savvy Today
On My Own
We met up with my father for a weekend in Grayton Beach, Florida . It was too short as the girls don't see nearly enough of their grandparents, but we packed it full of fun. We spent our last day on the beach

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
