Parent #1
A very nurturing environment with a strong emphasis on socialization. Helps kids learn to become independent and get along with each other -- the teachers are fabulous at empowering kids to resolve conflicts. A sound academic grounding as well that has enabled our older child to move onto and thrive at a top NYC prep school.

This is a small school where the director is in the classroom every day. This means that the school knows the child through and through and children get the individual attention they need and deserve at this age. The teachers have excellent training and school is philosophy driven.

I was very happy with the way the teachers dealt with social issues in the classroom - they worked hard to make sure conflicts were resolved in a quick and gentle manner. The level of parent involvement in the school is unique - the parent body is very close, and welcoming to newcomers.
