Question to director: Do you have any additional thoughts on what parents should consider when looking at your school? Is there any advice that you would like to provide to prospective parents?
We offer Education for Life. Our community is a child-centered learning environment built on turst in the natural deveopment of mind and spirit. Alcuin is the oldest chartered Montessori School in the Midwest and now serves second generation families. Serving children from 12 months to 14 years. We help each child become confident, curious, self-disciplined, motivated, responsible, flexible and tolerant. We serve a diverse community of students from many different backgrounds.

The principal is uninvolved and unsupportive of both parents and teachers. Teachers have been good but there's really high turn over. Extra curricular activities have been cut and the facility is in disrepair.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
