Parents' Comments
Parent #1
Teachers demonstrated frequent one on one attention toward students in a variety on activities. They squatted down or bent over for height adjustment for closer interaction. Often times teachers instructed students to perform cetain skills through a hand on hand method for explanation, such as painting verticle/horizontal/diagnol suggestions and blending colors. Songs were sung, actions were inplemented and reinforced when performed. Students were listened to when they spoke and their suggestions considered and commented on. Students were encouraged to explore and share about their discoveries. My daughter is treated like an individual and the service is very personalized. She is recognized for her progress and praised for appropriate behaviors she displays when interacting with other children. As an only child her social skills were limited and she was somewhat an outcast prior to her involvement here at this child care center. I am pleased. It is a child safe, fun, and comfortable setting. My daughter shares with everyone about "her school".
