My older daughter went to Carpe Diem until she was ready for Kindergarten â?? now she is in 3rd grade and she still loves to go back to Carpe Diem to visit her teachers and friends. My younger daughter also goes there and loves her friends and teachers. I appreciate the warm and kid-friendly environment at Carpe Diem. The web cast is very useful and has good download/refresh speed to watch my daughter in her school. Besides offering the right environment for learning, Carpe Diem also offers classes from reputed institutions to teach the gymnastics and ballet.

Carpe Diem is the name of the place where I send my children without any worries. I have a 4 year old son and a 5 months old daughter and I am very very satisfied with the school.
I like this school for numerous reason like:
Low children to teacher ratio
Valuing the child as an individual within the context of their family and community
Helps in recognizing the nature of childrenâ??s play as it affects learning in areas such as math, science, language, literacy etc
It acknowledges and supports childrenâ??s individual learning styles
Help children make meaning, and make sense of themselves and everything
Develop childrenâ??s abilities to observe, perceive, explore, investigate, imagine. and problem solve
Focus on daily routines such as eating, toileting, dressing, and resting as opportunities for learning and social development
Recognize the need for children to practice skills and consolidate their learning by providing opportunities for repetition of experiences and expression of their ideas
Provide an environment that stimulates the imagination, promotes creativity, and enhances aesthetic development throughout the day
The only drawback I find is that the school is very expensive. I made the decision to send my first child to this school thinking that if I do not find it worth then I'll move him to another school later but I was so much satisfied that I ended up enrolling my younger one also to this school.

Carpe Diem is a wonderful school! The teachers have been working with my child to teach her sign language from infancy. She is 15 months old and can speak and sign lots of words. She can string sentences together like "more milk please." She has a super talented music teacher that visits her class daily, and Carpe Diem has a lot of activities going on all the time, even for the little ones! The teachers are great and have lots of experience, and the student/teacher ratios are the best I've found! I really love that the classes have webcams in them so that you check in on your little one throughout the day! I would happily recommend Carpe Diem to friends and family!

Great staff & teachers, low student-teacher ratios, excellent curriculum.

Having sent my kids to 3 other places in the past, IMHO Carpe Diem is absolutely the best out there! This was the 1st place that I'd heard of that teaches baby sign language; it's amazing when your little one starts communicating with you before they can actually talk! And, the emphasis is on children's development: physically, socially, mentally, creatively; and the curriculum, which includes art, music, computers, Spanish, and dramatic play, proves that out, all while letting the kids be kids and have fun. They actually believe in proudly displaying kids' artwork on the walls. The teachers are amazing, and most have been there year after year - which is quite a testament to the management as well. Parent/teacher communication is important to them, and it shows. Parent/student ratios are kept low. I HIGHLY recommend Carpe Diem!

Our son is 2 years old and he goes to Carpe Diem. This year he is in the Transition to Preschool class and it is unbelievable how much he likes it!. He gets to have music class, Spanish class and computer class! He also gets to play outdoors and at the schoolâ??s activity room which is like an indoor gym. All this activities are part of their curriculum and on the top of that we get to choose extra-curricum activities like kido kinetics!

My daughter has gone to Carpe Diem Richardson for a year now and I am amazed at the progress she has made. I am also very pleased at the attention, care, and affection she has received from all her teachers and the administrators at the school. I remember a specific time at the school when my daughter became ill during the day and how she was being cradled and cared for by the teacher when I arrived to pick her up. I will be enrolling my younger daughter in the spring as soon as she is old enough to attend.

It was a cold and soggy day at the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo. Cold, that is, for March day here in Austin. Of all the sights to see, my son spent most of our visit at the petting zoo. He picked out his
