Parents' Comments
Parent #1
My daughter's loved this school. The teachers were all very caring & friendly and very helpful. The director was very easy to work with, helpful & accomodating as well. I never had to worry about the doors being closed for bad weather like some of the other schools in town. I was always guaranteed to have a place to take my kids, even when I still had to work during bad weather. The fees were the best I found and the discount for having more than one child enrolled was helpful. I also enjoyed the extra activities my kids could be involved in like, dance and gymnastics. Those rates were EXTREMELY reasonable! I always knew my kids were getting good meals & snacks, a peaceful nap & lots of fun. The only problem I ever had was the fact that they tended to be a little too lenient on how long the "biters" could stay enrolled. Some schools will kick your child out after very few occurances. When your child is the one getting bitten (and all by one kid) it gets pretty old. I did have to talk to the director one time about this, but that was the only problem I ever had. They learned so much while they attended this school. I'm glad that I made the choice to send them there & would do it again if I could.

Being Savvy Today
My Year of Giving Thanks
A year is such a strange thing. It's hard to define, other than to say that it's (generally) 365 days long, or to assign some notion of time to it. Yet, the truth is, so much happens in a year that all those events and experiences seem enough for
Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?
What school type is right for your child? Is one model better than another? What does the research say?

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
