Parents' Comments
Parent #1
I do not know if they learn spanish .
Parent #2
the strength of this program is the spanish immersion-it is truly amazing that my child 'sounds' like a spanish speaker. i'm not quite sure how long the language will stick as we do not speak spanish at home, but i think my child definitely has an ear for the language. my child enjoys school and very much enjoys learning in spanish. the spanish schoolhouse does many cultural activities that are great discussion points for us at home. i wish they read more to the children in spanish, but i think the english teacher (30 minutes a day) is amazing!

Most of the teachers are Spanish speaking as a first language so understanding them (accents) takes some time. However, there is a full time person in the office that is English speaking as first language and will help you. Keep in mind that this is not a disadvantage of the school as I have had several Spanish speaking individuals tell me that my children have excellent diction when speaking Spanish (their second language).
