Parents' Comments
Parent #1
This school is structured to serve as more of a daycare then a preschool. The workers fluctuate and are mostly young women. They are not as nuturing as rule enforcers, and the environment is rather sterile.
Parent #2
School has great ideas and goals, but practice doesn't live up to those goals. Facilities are old, supervision is on the lax side, and policies and schedules are not what parents are told at the outset.
Parent #3
The school seems to follow the typical daily schedule that most other preschools follow (scheduled: playtime, snack, activity, nap, etc) However, I don't see my son developing academically (writing, reading, math). I do recognize that he is learning about the weekly topics (ie: Sharks, Apples, Thanksgiving, etc). It would be great if the school facilitated some sort of parent community. The school does not do any sort of outings or require parent volunteers. Both would be neat to see.

Being Savvy Today
On My Own
We met up with my father for a weekend in Grayton Beach, Florida . It was too short as the girls don't see nearly enough of their grandparents, but we packed it full of fun. We spent our last day on the beach

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
