Director's Comments

Question to director: Do you have any additional thoughts on what parents should consider when looking at your school? Is there any advice that you would like to provide to prospective parents?

Visit the school -- we have tours in January. Teacher tenure is important.

Parents' Comments

Parent #1
This is a very warm, loving environment. Our primary objective for my daughter in preschool is improving her comfort and skills in group social settings. We continue to see improvement in this area.

Parent #2
The tone is excellent for discipline and learning.

Parent #3
What I liked the MOST about Creative School is that it is an active school, ie(chapel, music, library, cooking and a terrific playground)! My child also participated in a play/learning continuing education program that was helpful for teachers too.

Parent #4
The preschool director is wonderful and the school has been a part of the community for so many years it is a fixture.

Parent #5
My child has developed self-confidence, independence, and a love for learning & music this past year. The Creative School has provided a wonderful balance of child-directed and teacher-directed activities. I would have liked to have an individual conference or home visit prior to the begining of the year.

Get large plastic buckets (or sand buckets if you have lots of really little toys )in a variety of solid colors (red, blue, yellow, green, pink). Ask your child to clean up his/her toys by putting the toys in the bucket corresponding to the color bucket. Great for teaching personal responsibility, color identification, and sorting.
