Parents' Comments
Parent #1
The Community School is a wonderful, unique program and I am thrilled with my daughter's experience there!
Parent #2
I feel that this school has great and supportive parents and that the children seem happy and glad to be at school. I feel that the children learn individually and that they are encouraged to develop their strengths. I feel very confident that my child is getting a good early learning education. I highly recommend this school.

The teachers for ages 2-5 are extraordinary. They teach the children French and in an organic way that is fun (non-threatening) for the children. There is a new playground structure to be built soon. The teacher/student ratio is actually cozy, and the children are always happy and busy when I stop by.
Parent #4
School is flexible for working parents but I don't feel it should be considered a 'school' as there does not seem to be any curriculum.
Parent #5
This school does not offer many of the extras I've observed at other pre-schools, such as music class, library time, extra curricular activities (swimming, dance, gymnastics, etc.). There are no computers in any of the classrooms.
Parent #6
Teachers are not trained properly how to deal with misbehaving children as well as the children that fall victim to the mistreatment.

A Season of Rituals
Darkest December is upon us, and we are all preparing, in our different ways, to light it up with rituals. Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's. Parties, tree lightings, and holiday cards. Visits with family. Feasts, gifts, and candles.

Dallas: Did you miss these? Looking back at November
What a month! With the new season falling upon us, and the Thanksgiving holiday rush over - it's a wonder how we've been able to keep up with it all [or so I'd like to think].In case you missed it, here are some great things we covered in November:Creating a

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Get large plastic buckets (or sand buckets if you have lots of really little toys )in a variety of solid colors (red, blue, yellow, green, pink). Ask your child to clean up his/her toys by putting the toys in the bucket corresponding to the color bucket. Great for teaching personal responsibility, color identification, and sorting.
