Parents' Comments

Parent #1
Bethany is such wonderful school! I think it's only weakness is that not enough folks know about it. It's the best kept secret in the Lake Highlands area.

Parent #2
The class size in most preschools in the Lake Highlands area is 7 kids per class up thru 4 year old...so Bethany is the same as all the others. This is a small school and have a wide age range in each classroom. We have found that schools which group children by birthmonth (all kids in a class are within 2 or 3 months of the others) work better for most children, so there isn't the huge distance in skills between 18 months and 3 years.

Parent #3
Bethany's Director stresses the achedemic superiority of the school, and the Assistant-Director enforces the lengthy rule book for parents and children. It has a rigorous curriculum and rigid rules. This works well for parents who are looking for a place where their child can get ahead of the others before Kindergarten. It is a stressful environment for many children, but that's what they need to be ready for the real world.

Parent #4
One of the strengths is the small class size. The teacher to kid ratio is fabulous. My child is currently in the biggest class there that he has ever been in and there are 10 kids total, 1 teacher, and 1 aid. It is remarkable how much they can give your child in this smaller class environment!

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
