Parents' Comments
Parent #1
The strength that this pre-school has is that they are open the majority of the time with the exception of weekends and major holidays.
I believe this school has many weaknesses and disadvantages. On the occations that I have gone to visit the school ( About five times) I have seen nothing but negative discipline methods and acedemic standards. The first time I went to visit there was a child raging out of control, hitting and screaming at other kids. The other children were obviously immune to this behavior as they would flinch when the abusive child came near them. I spoke with the director the same day and it was taken care of the next week when I was informed that the abusive child was no longer attending the school.
On a second occation that I visited the school I engaged in a activity that the children were playing. The only academic standard that I could see in this game was motor skills and praise from the teacher to raise the esteem of the children. As the game started the first child exceeded the point of the game and was not praise for it at all, the teacher was too busy focusing on a child that was not sitting in his "letter area". As the second child engaged in the game there was no encouragement or praise involved by the teacher and I was the one to start the praise.
There are couple of other problems I have a hard time dealing with which is why I am currently trying to find another child care. This is very sad and I worry about my daughter attending this school day by day. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone.

If you ask most preschoolers about Africa, they will probably tell you what they saw in The Lion King. The Africa of lions, giraffes, hyenas and meerkats all living on the savannah in Africa is only a small part of a land that can exhaust the use of

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
