Director's Description to School's Approach to Discipline
Our school is based on classroom management as the most important aspect of a cohesive classroom enviroment. Teachers intervene to help children understand behavior that is not appropriate in school and model appropriate behavior for the childen. They also help children learn better ways to handle situations and behaviors that will yield more positive responses.
Food Allergies
- We do not allow certain foods in the classroom
- We keep special snacks for allergic children
- We ask parents to provide child-safe snacks for their allergic child
Medications
- we handle medical needs on a child to child basis depending on their particular situation.
