Any corporal punishment, physical or mechanical restraint, the withholding of food, or any form of emotional abuse is strictly prohibited. Ballard Community Center would like to provide an environment where you, as the parent/guardian, feel your child is safe. Our goal is to encourage your child to feel free to explore and express him/herself. However, in order to accomplish this, behavior management techniques may be necessary at times.
BCC Uses indirect ways to guide children:
-We provide clear rules and expectations
-We give choices
-We maintain a regular routine
Food Allergies
- We ask parents to provide child-safe snacks for their allergic child
Medications
- We keep their medication on hand at all times
