Parents at this school, on average, believe that conflicts between children:
...are handled extraordinarily well in a way that not only gives me confidence in the safety of my child but also reassures me that my child (and his/her peers) are learning the early skills needed to socialize effectively with one another

Parents' Notes on Discipline, Health and Safety
Parent #1
Much of the communication on injuries in the playground is informal, through conversation as opposed to a formal written note. Often you need to rely on your child to tell you how a bump or scratch appeared. This is sometimes a little frustrating at the preschool level.
Parent #2
with regard to dicipline, I have watched the teachers skillfully intervene. But not too much. Our teacher managed to not shame the child who was struggling with inappropriate behavior, and also put a stop to it, and also allowed the children space to let them work it out. The play continued seamlessly and the children were empowered to resolve their conflicts with conmpassion.
