Parents' Notes on Discipline, Health and Safety
Parent #1
Children age 3-4 are not sent to wash their hands with soap and water before snack time and are allowed to visit the bathroom without adult supervision. Cleaning sprays have been left within reach of children in the ballet room. Teachers have left the classrooms for 1-2 minutes without leaving an adult to supervise. Some classrooms are within 10 feet of an outside door and a small child could easily exit the door if a teacher is not watching. At times, the teacher to child ratio has been 19 to one for the 3-5 year old class.
