Director's Description to School's Approach to Discipline
We believe that most children need to understand why their behavior isn't appropriate and what we want for the child is to gain self-control when it is necessary. Usually a short talk about what happened and what is appropriate is enough. We do not have time out. We take the time to spend a few moments with the child and then we comfort the other child so that everyone sees what to do. Which is use kind words, forgive each other, listen & share as much as possibile and talk things over.
