Parents at this school, on average, believe that conflicts between children:
...are handled extraordinarily well in a way that not only gives me confidence in the safety of my child but also reassures me that my child (and his/her peers) are learning the early skills needed to socialize effectively with one another

Director's Description to School's Approach to Discipline
We prefer positive redirection to any punitive approach. Time out will be given to a child so that they may think about their behavior and calm down. Teachers follow up to ensure that the child understands why the time out was needed and make sure to model and praise proper behavior. Children will be sent to the office in cases of extreme behavior. While rare, it is our policy that children who bite or swear be sent home. Dismissal from the facility is even more rare, but can occur if a child does not improve severe behavior.
Parents' Notes on Discipline, Health and Safety
Parent #1
All Saints Day School becomes a home away from home for these children and parents. Because of the small size of the school and enrollment each parent is known personally by the staff. The gate and courtyard are visable from each classroom and office. Class sized are small and teacher aids are present in each classroom, so students are supervised at all times. (No one is allowed to wander!)
The school facility is clean and organized. You must take into consideration that they have been educating children for over 30 years...that shows a little on the building. But, all areas are safe and healthy.
Parent #2
The staff is very experienced and loving. They know all the kids and enjoy doing what they do.

Being Savvy Today
Joy Through a Child's Eyes
It was a cold and soggy day at the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo. Cold, that is, for March day here in Austin. Of all the sights to see, my son spent most of our visit at the petting zoo. He picked out his
