Director's Description to School's Approach to Discipline
"Our program believes that effective discipline is guidance--an educational process--not a tool to enforce obedience. The desired goal of discipline is to promote self-discipline and responsibility in children which enables them to cooperate with others. We will not use any method of discipline that may cause a child's self esteem to be damaged. No method of discipline will be used that will intend humiliation, fear, or physical harm to children." -- Excerpted from the school's parent handbook
