Parents at this school, on average, believe that conflicts between children:
...are handled extraordinarily well in a way that not only gives me confidence in the safety of my child but also reassures me that my child (and his/her peers) are learning the early skills needed to socialize effectively with one another

Parents' Notes on Discipline, Health and Safety
Parent #1
This school does not have a cleaner that cleans up at the end of the day. The teachers of the classrooms are responsible for the cleanliness of their indivual classroom and bathroom. Also, this school is located inside a state park and the classrooms are actually old cabins that have been converted. Being that the school grounds in inside a forest, the classrooms are quite cold and damp in the winter time. There are a lot of hikers and strangers walking around the school. Although there are park rangers that patrol the grounds. Parents take turns in providing snacks daily for the ENTIRE school, and lunch for the teachers. Each family usually does that approximately three times a school year. With the exception of the swings, the outdoor playground is rarely used due to the fact that is always dirty.
Parent #2
The school is old and needs repair. However, they've been forced to relocate so we're confident that the new facilities will be first rate.
Parent #3
Teacher monitoring of all children, during all activities is very, very good.
Parent #4
Not just tricycles, bicycles!!
Parent #5
I haven't noticed any serious discipline or safety issues at the school.
Parent #6
Great Location and facility
Parent #7
I don't know what "parent #1" is talking about - there is a cleaning crew that comes every afternoon after the teachers and children leave and cleans all the rooms...
Parent #8
All questions answered.
Parent #9
The teachers help the children resolve conflicts for themselves, which helps to create a strong sense of self
