Savvy Source's Comments
A cooperative nursery school provides a healthy, safe and varied environment in which your child can develop socially as well as physically, emotionally and mentally. Moreover, a cooperative nursery school allows you to see your child in a nursery school setting. You will also work with other children of the same age as yours. In the process, you will become aware of common behavior patterns and learn more about how to deal with them. For the Children: The school should help: -increase their sense of self worth -increase their range of experiences -increase their ability to communicate -develop physical skills appropriate to their age -develop sound emotional and mental health -develop a positive attitude toward school -support their trust in teachers and adults -increase their ability to listen and focus in a sustained way -develop social skills -develop their ability to delay gratification -encourage creative experiences in all forms Extracted from www.saratogaparentnurseryschool.org
