the supposed Monterssori approach is very hard to track - there is no regular records to inform the parents. You have to take the teacher's words for what she is doing. With 23 children in class the teacher has difficulty to give each child enough attention. She also may have favorites in which case some children may get totally neglected. It is also impossible to switch teachers. If there is not enough rapport between the child and the teacher, you are stuck.
