Other subjects taught	We offer a music enhancement program twice a month, where children are lead by professional musicians in a circle time. There are after school musice lessons for children who are 4 years old. We also offer a physical education program twice a month.				n/a

Director's Comments

The children are encouraged to participate in activities daily centered around art, music and literature. They have the freedom to choose when they participate, with the exception of a group circle time that lasts from 10 to 20 minutes.

Parent #1
We were excited about their Kindergarten Readiness program, but ultimately decided against it (because I didn't want to send our daughter to school for 5 days a week). I do think it is a very special program, and well worth looking into. The social and emotional development is handled especially well at this school.

Learning thru play with consistent repeated activities daily, i.e. art projects, dance & music, structured exercise, etc.

The options on the above questions don't really apply to the programs that La Canada Preschool offers. The projects whether they be art or crafts, are very interactive and collaborative. They offer the best materials and during free play offer many different creative opportunities for the children.
