Our school has an excellent swimming program which is teacher-led, of course. They also have a movement class which is teacher-led. The outside activities are mostly about free play. So, some things are teacher-led and some are free play.

Most of the class time is unstructured, with different activity stations set up around the room. There is a structured story time, singing time during each class.

The head teacher calls the shots and no one else gets any input, either the other teachers or the parents

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
