Parents' Comments
Parent #1
All Souls is structured as stations with a good bit of choice from the child, but also some structure from the teachers. Some stations may be purely optional (legos, dress-up) and some may require a visit (journal pages, class newspaper done in groups). Some areas are totally unstructured and some have teacher supervision and support. The daily meeting provides the place for teachers to introduce new topics and projects and help the children think and talk through them.

Developmental - with teachers building curriculum based around interests of particular group of kids each year. No formal instruction in math or reading.
Parent #3
Children choose what to do about 1/2 the day but each child manages to do most of the choice activities. The other 1/2 the day is circletime, music, story reading, etc.
Parent #4
All Souls is predominantly free play but the teachers are very invloved. They encourage the children to explore and develope. It really is a combination of free play and teacher led instruction.
