Director's Comments
Early Foundations® Preschool.
Preschoolers' worlds open up in new ways. They are improving coordination, beginning to combine ideas and learning more complex games, all while learning about themselves and each other. Our Early Foundations preschool curriculum introduces language, math, science and social skills in a logical, natural sequence to encourage learning one step at a time. Our teachers also provide plenty of individual attention to support your child's unique needs.
Our program provides a rich classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn, while making friends and developing self-confidence. They strengthen their cognitive skills with fun memory games where they match objects that share similar characteristics. And because they learn by doing, we provide opportunities for hands-on experience, such as creating collages, which combines creative expression with a tactile experience.
Features:
Your child will develop math and science skills with our hands-on experiences.
Thematic units encourage curiosity, self-direction and confidence.
Daily language experiences are introduced to support literacy and language development.
Observation-based assessments are used to monitor learning.
Portfolios are used to collect your child's work and capture learning.
You will enjoy regular communication with teachers so that you are informed about your child's day.

I'm not sure in how to answer these questions. The teachers interact with my child quite well not only in group activities but one on one as well.

Kids are a funny bunch. They are often loath to change and anything new. But still, our little ones are open to so much -- and so much more than we more ossified parents are! Think of poetry: preschoolers happily read and repeat poems with ease and
