All of our 3-5 year old teachers are certified teachers, therefore, we teach through the most current and developmentally appropriate practices. We want to establish a love for learning and being at school. The learning will then naturally happen.

Director's Comments

In all classrooms, we structure learning around Circle time, Centers, Free Play, Art, and music. The length of each activity is determined by the age of the child.

Parents' Comments

Parent #1
The children at all ages have circle time and center time. During circle time the teacher reinforce storytelling, counting, problem solving etc. Center time is self directed free play. The 3, 4, and 4/5 classes all attend Chapel, Music, Movement, Science and Outdoor learning to explore different curricula areas.

Parent #2
In addition to teacher led instruction and free play with some structure; Stringfellow offers the following 'enrichment' clases: Movement, Music, Science, Chapel and Outdoor Learning.

Parent #3
No separate music instructor.

Parent #4
For the 3 -5 year olds, there are science, chapel, art, music, movement, outdoor learning and other learning areas in addition to their class time.
