Director's Comments

San Diego French American School offers a two-way, dual immersion, multi-cultural program from preschool through the eighth grades. Approximately 75 - 80% of the course work is in the French language (depending on the grade) and follows the curriculum guidelines of the French Ministry of Education. The remaining portion is in English and is an accelerated program including English Language Arts, American Social Studies and in K - 5th, Science. Spanish is taught as a third language beginning in 5th grade/cm2.

Further information on two-way dual language immersion programs is available in the Admissions Office.

Along with a strong commitment to excellence in math, the sciences, linguistics, the arts, and sports, San Diego French American School prepares children for the important life skills so necessary for future leadership: independence, organization, discipline and responsibility.
