Our curriculum covers the following areas of concentration:
Language Arts-pre-reading skills, vocabulary building, letter recognition (upper/lower case), letter sounds, writing, and literature read aloud by the teacher.
Math-shapes, colors, sequencing, patterning, matching, weighing, measuring, counting, parts vs. whole, number recognition, beginning addition/subtractions concepts and graphing.
Art-"child-centered" art including easel painting, drawing, coloring, collage
Science-scientific concepts, experiments, cooking, animals/habitats, environment
Music-singing, movement/dance, tempo/beat, musical instruments
Dramatic Play-"acting-out" stories, housekeeping and dress-up, plays, encouraging imagination
Gross Motor Skills-Indoor and Outdoor Play Facilities

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
