Parents' Comments

Parent #1
There were general written educational goals at the beginning of the year (not a formal curriculum) but no apparent tracking measure that these goals were ever being met. At our first parent teacher conference of the year (in October), we asked how the teacher knew that the children didn't always go to the same center over and over (math, science, geography, reading, etc.) The teacher said that she was going to start using a dot system to ensure that the children were visiting each of the centers. This was supposed to be a very simple system with index cards with each child's name and a different colored dot for each center. Each time we followed up with the teacher there was a different excuse (the laminator is broken, after the holidays, etc.). At the May parent-teacher conference this system was still not started. This is just one of many examples of how disorganized this teacher was and how she failed to follow through, time and time again.
