Application Process
Applications are accepted: Teachers are available by phone or appointment between 2:30-3:30. arrange a school tour or visit and receive information from m.i.s.d. office familiarize yourself with basic montessori philosophy complete application and pay non-refundable application fee participate in child interview, as required receive letter of acceptance from m.i.s.d. complete and return enrollment contract, all forms and deposit attend orientation meeting |

| Acceptance criteria:
Currently enrolled students (enrollment must be received by set deadline)
Siblings of currently enrolled students
Balancing of ages and gender in each classroom
Transfers from other Montessori schools
Date of application
If classes are full, prospective students will be put on a waiting list. Returning students will be given priority over new students on the returning list. The Director will make the final decision regarding student enrollment. Families may request a particular program, but the final placement will be made by the Director with faculty recommendations.
The M.I.S.D. Children's House admits and welcomes students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities available to students at the school. We met up with my father for a weekend in Grayton Beach, Florida . It was too short as the girls don't see nearly enough of their grandparents, but we packed it full of fun. We spent our last day on the beach

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
