Admissions Process
| Acceptance criteria:
• Priority for acceptance is given to currently enrolled families. Currently enrolled families living outside Manhattan Plaza have the same priority as resident families.
• Full Day applicants are given priority for the AM Preschool class.
• If there are more eligible applicants than openings in any class, a lottery takes place. The lottery is divided into two separate sections according to the ratio of boys to girls in the class.
• After places have been filled with returning students and full day applicants, any available spots are given first to new students who are Manhattan Plaza residents, and then to alumni families from outside Manhattan Plaza. Finally, the spots are open to all who apply.
• If two new resident students apply, and are eligible for the same spot, priority is given to the first application submitted. Alumni families in good standing are given priority over new residents if the class is made up of 50% resident families

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
