Application Process
Applications are accepted: We welcome calls for information on weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. our admissions number is (607) 562-8754, extension 110. you may also we urge parents to make an appointment to tour our facilities and observe a class, but this is not mandatory. if an opening is available, the administrator schedules an interview for the prospective student with a teacher to determine the appropriateness of placement. in order to be eligible for the program, children should have turned two by october 1 of the year they enter |
Application fee: $75.00 $25.00 for the Toddler Program. |

Admissions Process
| Acceptance criteria:
If no opening is available, the student is placed on the wait list.
When no openings are available, children will be placed on a wait list. In the event of an opening, children on this list will be considered for enrollment, based upon the class needs, in accordance with the Montessori principles of education.
The Chemung Valley Montessori School admits students of any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. CVMS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, and scholarship programs.
Session preferences will be acknowledged on a first-come, first-served basis.
Children of staff members,siblings of currently enrolled students, enrolled toddlers and transfer students from other Montessori schools may be granted priority status for enrollment

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
