Application Process
Applications are accepted: Medical forms: your child's health is a matter of major importance to us. no child will be permitted to begin school without completed medical forms. the emergency form, with contact numbers, must be kept current. in addition, we require the applicant to submit a teacher observation form, where applicable, from their present school to ensure that we can meet their educational needs. make an appointment to speak with our admission director, michele rosenberg, at (631)368-2600 take a tour of our beautiful school and experience the special dimension of the jewish academy/early childhood discovery center. 1. submitting a completed application form with the application fee 2. forwarding transcript release form to present school if applicable 3. providing teacher observation form from previous school if applicable 4. participation in a group evaluation with the director and teachers 5. the head of school administering a "dial 3" screening |

Admissions Process
| Acceptance criteria:
To this end, all prospective students will be asked to participate in a group evaluation. This evaluation is administered by the Director of the Early Childhood Center and our faculty.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
