Application Process
Applications are accepted: Universal prekindergarten children who are four years of age by december 31st of the calendar year may register for this program in addi tion to regular child care hours. the preschool program for children from 2 to 6 years of age* * ages as of september 1st of the calendar year. upon acceptance, parents/guardians must submit the following documents: * original birth certificate * parent/guardian photo i.d. * paid bursar's receipt * a copy of parent's/guardian's class schedule * a new admission medical record and immunization record from the child's physician * two emergency contacts * a food program form * income documentation * a signed contract with the center * a $20 non-refundable deposit |

Children currently attending the Center are given priority for the following semesters. Children of students on our mailing
list will be registered at a lottery held prior to each semester on a space available basis.
The Children's Center is open to children of students of the College of Staten Island without regard to age, alienage or citizenship, color, gender, handicap, national or ethnic origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran or marital status
