Application Process
Applications are accepted: Children enrolling in the pre-kindergarten program must be fully potty trained and self-sufficient and able to participate in all aspects of the program. children with physical or emotional handicaps shall be accepted if it is determined that the child can interact positively with the other children in the center, that the child will benefit from the program, and that the staff is able to meet the special needs of the child along with the needs of the other children in the center. each child will be evaluated on an individual basis. we will work with the parents to determine if the child will be successful in our program. parents are required to attend an orientation with the director. the site director will discuss the philosophy, curriculum, and policies with the parents. parents and children are invited to tour the center and explore the environment. if it is determined that the program offered meets the particular needs of the child the parent is given orientation materials and the initial application packet. parents must complete a pre-admission health history and record form. ? parents must keep the center director appraised of any medications the child is taking. all medical, physical, emotional and mental health issues must be discussed with the director. failure to comply will result in termination ? physical examinations and immunizations ? for school age children, current medical form and immunization record that are on file at your child?s school will satisfy this requirement. pre-kindergarten children must have a current medical form and immunization record to attend. |
