Admissions Process
| Acceptance criteria:
The Rye Presbyterian Nursery School is available to children of all races, creeds or ethnic origin.
Placement is based on recommendations from the previous teacher and the Director.
"In House" registration for the 2007 / 2008 school year for all current students, new siblings and new church members will be held on January 3rd and 4th, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, in the Westminster Room.
Registration for all other new applicants will be held on Wednesday, January 10th, at 9:00 AM and Thursday, January 11th at 8:15 AM.
Students who are currently enrolled in a particular session (AM or PM) will have the first opportunity to enroll in that session for the next year.
Placement for any remaining openings in the AM or PM will be determined by several variables, including the number of years a family has had children attend RPNS (one point for each year, each child has attended), gender and educational needs

Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?
What school type is right for your child? Is one model better than another? What does the research say?

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
